First day: Muscat.
(Grand mosque of sultan Qaboos – Souq of mutrah- Bait al zubair museum- Royal palace- AL Gilali & AL Mirani fort)
Arrival at the international airport of Muscat, meeting with the local tour guide. Departure for the guided tour of the Great Mosque of the Sultan, the largest in the world, symbol of elegance and grandeur, made of Carrara marble, with the luxurious Swarovski crystal chandelier and the immense Iranian manufacture carpet.
Visit to the Bait Al Zobair museum, for an introduction to Oman culture and history. . Old town of Mutrah, in time for a sunset stroll along the promenade that encloses the port: the sultan's yacht is anchored here.
You can enter the maze of narrow streets of the oldest market in the country, intoxicated by the scent of incense and spices, the typical fragrance (Amouge) and between bright colors of fabrics and typical products. Photographic stage at the Royal Palace of the Sultan (Al Alam), a sumptuous building with columns inlaid with gold mosaics and blue ceramics, immersed in a well-kept garden with rare trees and flowers. Visit from the outside of the two twin fortresses (Al Gilali and Al Mirani), built by the Portuguese in the 16th century to defend the capital.

Second Day
(Castle of nakhl – AinThawara- WadiBani Auf –Hamra – Misfat)
Breakfast at hotel.
Departure for the Rostaq region, where the castle of Nakhl is located, one of the most beautiful and best preserved castles of Oman, set on an austere rocky hill and bordered by a lush palm grove.
Continuation of the itinerary to reach A'thawara, a place known for its hot water thermal springs. Going up towards the top of Mount Hagar, stopping to admire the majestic landscape, you reach WadiBaniWuf, known for its Snake Canyon, and then reach the top of the mountain (2000M), where your eyes will be delighted by a fantastic view of palm trees and terraced gardens between stone walls.
Picnic lunch on the mountain.
On the way down is Hamra, one of the oldest inhabited centers in the country, all built with mud houses and irrigation canals dating back to the 17th century.Possibility to take a nice walk among the arcades of the village.
The visit ends with a stop at Misfat, a small village perched on the mountainside, set in a harmonious natural environment: between palm trees and terraces, the famous irrigation canal intersects across the mountain.

Third day
(jebel al akhadar- wadibanihabib- saiq plateau- Al ain& Al akur)
Breakfast at hotel.
After breakfast we set off towards the charm of the jabal al akhadar massif, the Arabic name means ‘‘Green Mountain’’ due to the presence of the many terraced agricultural lands. It is located at an altitude of 3020 meters and enjoys an ideal climate all year round where it is the summer period during which the highlight of the flowering and gathering of fruits takes place, the most suggestive moment to visit the mountain that is covered with a fragrant pink mantle and see the traditional techniques of preparing rose water.
As a program we visit WADI BANI HABIB which is a village perched on a plateau overlooking a valley with vineyards and almond and pomegranate fruit trees and apricots and peaches.The program continues at the upper top floor of the SAIQ PLATEAU to enjoy the panorama of the grand canyon, that point of height that is called DIANA S 'POINT, a panoramic balcony was dedicated to the English princess who admired the spectacle during the transit of the sultanate . We continue towards AL Ain a picturesque village built entirely on a splendid agricultural staircase where it is discovered and vegetables and roses in which it takes a nice walk to take mythical photos, the village is known for its water springs. I come to the hotel. Dinner, overnight stay.
Fourth day
( Nizwa castle- Bahla fort- jabrin castle- wahiba sands)
Breakfast at hotel.
Visit of Nizwa, the pearl of Islam, ancient capital of the 9th century Oman, with the imposing fortress and adjacent castle. Visit of the local market, where you can buy local handicrafts, spices, essences, fabrics, clay pots and silver jewelry. Even today, every Friday the auction of sheep and cattle takes place. . Continuation to the complex of the fortified city of Bahla, among the wonders recognized by UNESCO, enclosed by a wall of over 12 km. The remains of the ancient mud villages are still visible. It is possible to admire one of the most suggestive panoramic points of the town. We move to the Jabrin castle, the most refined of the 500 castles and fortresses of the sultanate, dating back to 1670.The journey back to the unforgettable Wahiba Sands desert, endless expanse of golden sand, is resumed. Accommodation at the tented camp.Dune bashing with 4x4 cars admiring the sunset.
Buffet dinner included. Night walk with your guide under the starry sky outside the tented camp.
Fifth day
( Ibra- wadiBaniKhaled- sur)
Breakfast in the camp and taking the paved road to turn towards the city of Ibra, where every Wednesday there is "the women market", run by the Bedouin women, who come with their facial masks and colorful traditional clothes, for the sale of local craft goods. After the visit to the market we set off to discover one of the most suggestive scenarios in the sultanate: WadiBaniKhaled, an indescribable landscape with vivid color contrasts. The rugged rocks and rich vegetation are reflected in the clear emerald waters with waterfalls and natural pools. Time available for a swim in the wadi lagoons. Arrival in Sur. Check in at the hotel.dinner.Evening excursion for the observation of turtles during spawning on the beach. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Sixth day
( sur – waditiwi – Bimmah sinkhole)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit of the city of Sur, an African anti-port city, which is still active today because of the artisanal construction of the typical Omani boats, the dhows. Visit of a shipyard. Continue to WadiTiwi, where you will take a short walk immersed in a breathtaking landscape, with imposing rocks in contrast with the luxuriant date and banana palms. Visit to Bimah Sinkhole: it is a crater formed following the dissolution of calcareous rocks, which collects crystalline waters where you can take a break for relaxation and swimming.
Arrival in Muscat. Accommodation in hotel. Free dinner and overnight stay.
Seventh day
After breakfast, transfer to the airport in time for boarding formalities.

The individual participation fee (minimum 2 people) includes:

Any change with respect to the original booking request regarding the number of participants or the personalization of the itinerary must be notified with adequate advance notice.
If the chosen date of the trip falls on public holidays or unforeseen events that prevent the regular execution of the program or visits, Esmeralda Tour exempts itself from any responsibility for the impossibility of performing the services.
Please note that the proposed itineraries and visits are subject to local holidays: in particular on Friday and Saturday (holidays in Oman), some sites and points of interest cannot be visited.
Payments within 21 days of departure by international bank transfer (bank charges at the expense of the customer).
Cancellations:
- Within 31 -22 days before the start of the tour - 25% penalty
- Between 21 and 15 days before the start of the 50% criminal tour
- From 14 days before the start of the 100% criminal tour
