4 days tour to experience the essence of the beauty of the Sultanate of Oman, which ends with a stay in a resort on the Muscat coast or in Salalah (beach stay extendable on request). Breath taking landscapes, nature and traditions, through suggestive stages, with high quality professional services and maximum comfort.

First day: Muscat.

Arrival at Muscat international airport, the guided tour of the Grand Mosque begins, the largest in the world, a symbol of elegance and grandeur.The mosque is built in Carrara marble, with its luxurious Swarovski crystal chandelier and its immense carpet of Iranian manufacture.
It continues with a visit to the Museum (Bait al Zubair) for an introduction to Omani culture and history, and with the subsequent stop at the Al `Alam Royal Palace (exterior), a sumptuous building with inlaid columns of gold and ceramic mosaics blue.The palace is immersed in a well-kept garden of trees and flowers of selected rare species.
 Old town of Mutrah, in time for a walk at sunset on the promenade that encloses the port: the sultan's yacht is anchored here. delve into the maze of narrow streets of the oldest market in the country, inebriated by the scent of incense and spices, by the typical fragrance (Amouge) and between bright colors of fabrics and typical products.
Continue to visit the two Twin Fortresses built to defend the capital from the Portuguese in the 16th century (Al Gilali and Al Mirani). Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Second day
Qurayat_ sinkhole _wadi tiwi_ sur

Breakfast at hotel.
Travel along the coast, admiring the beauty of the Omani landscape.
Stop in Qurayat, facing the panorama of the Oman sea. Passage for the marine port, historically colonized by the Portuguese for about 140 years, thanks to which they were able to affirm their commercial dominance in the Indian Ocean.
The itinerary continues with a visit to BimahSinkhole: it is a crater formed as a result of the dissolution of the limestone rocks, which collects crystal clear waters where you can enjoy a stop for relaxation and swimming.
Departure for Wadi Tiwi, where you will take a short walk immersed in a breathtaking landscape, where you can photograph the rugged rocks, in contrast to the lush date and banana palms. Arrival in Sur. Check in at hotel.Cena.
Evening excursion for the observation of turtles during spawning on the beach. Back to the hotel. Overnight.

Third day

Wadi Bani Khaled - Wahiba Sands

Breakfast at hotel.
Visit of the picturesque city of Sur, African anticoport, is still active today for the artisan construction of the typical Omani boat, the dhows. Visited a shipyard.
We continue towards one of the most suggestive scenarios of the sultanate: Wadi Bani Khaled. The indescribable landscape with vivid color contrasts, arising from the rugged appearance of the rocks and the rich vegetation, which are reflected in the emerald waters. Time available for a swim in the wadi lagoons between the waterfalls and the natural pools.
We continue for the last stage of the day: the WahibaSands desert Immense golden dunes that stand out as far as the eye can see in 4x4. Stop on top of a dune to admire the sunset.
Check in to the tented camp. Dinner and overnight stay.

Fourth day

Jabrin, Bahla, Nizwa, resort

Breakfast at the tented camp.
Departure for Jabrin, the most refined of the 500 castles and fortresses of the sultanate, dating back to 1670.
Continue to the complex of the fortified city of Bahla, among the wonders recognized by UNESCO, consisting of a wall of over 12 km. The remains of the ancient mud villages can still be seen.
Visit of Nizwa, the pearl of Islam, the ancient capital of the IX century imman of Oman, with the imposing fortress and the adjacent castle.Visit of the market, where you can buy local handicrafts, spices, essences, fabrics , terracotta pots and silver jewelry. Every Friday the auction of sheep and cattle takes place here.
Return to Muscat.
Depending on the choice of customers, accommodation in Shangri’ la resorts or kempiniski resort or  Millenium mussanaha resort  ,   transfer to the airport to take the flight to Salalah and transfer to the Crown Plaza salalah.

The individual participation fee includes:

• Transfers from the airport to the hotel and vice versa.
• Tour as per itinerary, with transport by minibus and 4x4 car.
• english speaking local  guide for the duration of the trip.
• Overnight stays in 4-star / 3-star sup. with half board (breakfast
and dinner). The lunches, included in the fee, will be served by local restaurants during the excursions, as indicated in the program.
• Entrance tickets to the sites, where applicable.

The individual participation fee does not include:

• Tourist visa for stays up to 30 days, to be paid online before departure.
• Tips.
• Personal extras.
• Flights.
• Anything not expressly indicated in the previous paragraph.
  

Any change compared to the original booking request as far as personalized tour, treatment modification, or additional nights, will entail a supplement to the rates indicated above.
If the chosen date of the trip falls on public holidays or unexpected events that prevent the regular execution of the program or visits, Esmeralda tour is exempt from any responsibility for the impossibility in carrying out the services.
Please note that the proposed itineraries and visits are subject to local holidays: in particular on Friday and Saturday (holidays in Oman), some sites and points of interest cannot be visited.

Payments (international bank transfer, bank charges to be paid by the originator):
Advance payment: 25% of the total within one week of booking.
Balance: within 21 days of departure.

Cancellations:

• Within 31 -22 days before the start of the tour - 25% penalty
• Between 21 and 15 days before the start of the 50% penalty
• From 14 days before the start of the 100% penalty
